News from the BOIDC - May 2026
At a recent meeting of club delegates there was a strong desire to play a full home and away competition, so all teams play each other in both the one-day and two-day format. To achieve that for the 2026-27 season and working on the assumption of a 7 or 8 team competition, a couple of extra dates needed to be found. The records continue to tumble
Saturday 10 January 2026 will go down as a record-breaking day for BOIDC competitions. In the match between Orange City and Cavaliers, 524 runs were scored in the day, which equaled the previous record for a BOIDC one day match (for the record that match was Orange CYMS v Bathurst City at Wade Park in the 2004-05 season).
